Policy and Commitment
Csun places great importance on a stable water supply and uses the World Resources Institute’s (WRI) Aqueduct Water Risk Atlas to assess water resource risks. The results show that the Linkou Headquarters, Taipei Plant, and Taichung Plant are located in medium-to-low water risk areas. Although the company’s water intensity is low, Csun will continue to strive toward improving water efficiency and achieving zero waste.

Water Intake and Discharge Management
Csun’s water intake mainly comes from third-party water utilities and is primarily used for domestic needs and some plant equipment. In 2023, Csun’s total water intake was 13.332 million liters, a decrease of 7.96% compared to 2022. Among the sites, the Taichung Plant is the only one with discharge data, with a discharge volume of 2.376 million liters in 2023, and an overall water consumption of 5.217 million liters.

Water Resource Management Measures
Csun regularly monitors water resource usage at each site annually and reduces environmental impact by lowering water intake and strengthening water resource management. In the future, the company will continue to improve water efficiency through optimized management processes to ensure the sustainable use of water resources.
